- 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1/2 cup powdered sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour

- 3/4 cup finely chopped nuts (walnuts or pecans work well)
- Additional powdered sugar for rolling
Instructions:
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- In a mixing bowl, cream together the softened butter, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth.

- Fold in the finely chopped nuts until evenly distributed in the dough.
- Shape the dough into 1-inch balls and place them on an ungreased baking sheet.

- Remove from the oven and let the cookies cool for a couple of minutes. While still warm, roll the cookies in powdered sugar until coated.
