  1. Sweetened shredded coconut
  2. Sweetened condensed milk
  3. Dark chocolate (or milk chocolate if you prefer)


  1. In a mixing bowl, combine the sweetened shredded coconut and sweetened condensed milk. Start with about 2 cups of shredded coconut and add sweetened condensed milk gradually until you achieve a sticky, cohesive mixture.
  2. Line a baking dish or tray with parchment paper.
  3. Press the coconut mixture into the prepared dish, spreading it out evenly.
  4. Place the dish in the refrigerator for a few hours or until the coconut mixture sets.
  5. Once the coconut layer has set, melt the dark chocolate. You can do this by using a double boiler or by melting the chocolate in short bursts in the microwave.
  6. Pour the melted chocolate over the coconut layer, spreading it evenly to cover the entire surface.
  7. Place the dish back in the refrigerator to allow the chocolate to harden.
