Cinnabon Roll Cake Recipe:


For the Cake:

– 2 cups all-purpose flour

– 1 cup granulated sugar

– 1 tablespoon baking powder

– 1/2 teaspoon salt

– 1 cup milk- 2 large eggs

– 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted

– 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

For the Cinnamon Filling:

– 1 cup brown sugar, packed

– 2 tablespoons ground cinnamon

– 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened

For the Cream Cheese Frosting:

– 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened

– 4 oz cream cheese, softened

– 2 cups powdered sugar

– 1 teaspoon vanilla extract


1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).

Grease and flour a 9×13 inch baking pan.

2. In a large bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.

3. In another bowl, whisk together milk, eggs, melted butter, and vanilla extract.

4. Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients, and mix until just combined.

5. In a separate bowl, mix together the ingredients for the cinnamon filling – brown sugar, cinnamon, and softened butter.

6. Spread half of the cake batter into the prepared pan. Dollop spoonfuls of the cinnamon filling on top, and swirl with a knife.

7. Pour the remaining batter over the cinnamon swirl and smooth the top.

8. Bake for 30-35 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.

9. While the cake is baking, prepare the cream cheese frosting. In a bowl, beat together softened butter, cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth.

10. Once the cake is cooled, spread the cream cheese frosting evenly over the top.

11. Optionally, sprinkle with additional cinnamon for garnish.
