  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a 10-inch bundt pan or pound cake pan.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, cream together the butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
  3. Add the eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition. Stir in the vanilla extract.
  4. In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
  5. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the creamed mixture, alternating with the sour cream. Begin and end with the dry ingredients, mixing until just combined.
  6. Gently fold in the chopped cranberries until evenly distributed throughout the batter.

  10. While the cake is cooling, prepare the glaze by whisking together the powdered sugar, milk or orange juice, and vanilla extract until smooth. Adjust the consistency by adding more liquid if needed.
